Two best friends. One passion.
Two best friends. One big dream. A passion for mothers and babies.
LoveuMama is the story of two best friends who shared a dream long before we ever imagined where it would take us.
During our university years, we dreamed of one day creating a practice where we could use our knowledge, passion and experience to make a meaningful difference in the lives of babies and their families.
What started as a dream of supporting babies has grown into something much bigger — a vision to support both mother and baby, together, throughout their journey.
Through our work as midwives and lactation consultants, we have had the privilege of walking alongside many mothers during one of the most significant and vulnerable times in their lives.
We have seen the confidence that comes when a mother feels supported, but we have also seen the uncertainty, overwhelm and self-doubt that can come when feeding doesn’t go quite as expected.
We realised that many mothers don’t necessarily need more information. They need someone to listen, someone to guide them, someone to reassure them and someone to walk alongside them.
Why LoveuMama?
Breastfeeding is often portrayed as something that should happen naturally and instinctively. Yet every mother and baby is different. Feeding can be influenced by birth, medical circumstances, a baby’s needs, maternal health, milk supply, mental wellbeing, previous experiences and so much more.
We wanted to create a practice where mothers could receive individualised, evidence based and compassionate support — without judgement and without the expectation that there is only one “right” way to feed their baby.
Our passion for breastfeeding is at the heart of what we do, but our vision extends beyond breastfeeding alone. We want to support the whole feeding journey and, most importantly, the mother and baby experiencing it.
Growing a village of support
Our dream for LoveuMama is to create more than a lactation practice. We envision building a multidisciplinary team of professionals from different backgrounds, all with a shared understanding of lactation, infant feeding and the needs of new families.
By bringing together different areas of expertise, we hope to offer mothers a broader and more connected approach to their breastfeeding and motherhood journey — because sometimes supporting breastfeeding means looking beyond breastfeeding itself.
Our vision is to build a community where mothers can access the right support at the right time, with professionals who work together to keep mother and baby at the centre of care.
What we hope to provide
At LoveuMama, we want every mother to feel heard, supported, informed and empowered.
Whether you are preparing to breastfeed, navigating the early days, experiencing challenges, expressing or pumping, returning to work, or simply looking for reassurance, we want you to know that you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
What began as a university dream shared by two best friends with a big passion for mothers and babies has grown into a bigger dream — to build a village around mothers and babies.
And this is only the beginning.
LoveuMama — supporting the journey, one mother and baby at a time.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Care that puts mother and baby at the centre.
At LoveuMama, we believe that breastfeeding support should be personal, evidence based and without judgement.
We believe that every mother and baby is unique, and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to feeding. Our role is to provide the knowledge, practical skills and support you need to make informed choices and work towards the feeding goals that matter to you.
